Landlords of the Thrifty Treasures store, 801 Central Ave., were contacted Wednesday to open the doors and let out customers.
The customers dialed 911 around 12:10 p.m. to say they were accidentally locked inside when the store's proprietors closed for lunch.
Police are investigating whether the door could be unlocked from the inside. Fire and building codes require a way for people inside the building to unlock the door and exit.
