Recently the N.V. Helping Hands 4-H club members and parents met to pick up trash along Highway 50. At two different times during the year, the club members remove trash one mile north of the Burr Spur for two miles. While they are picking up trash on Highway 50, they separate the cans from the trash. The cans are  then recycled and the cash is used for club projects. Before the cans are recycled, the tabs are removed and saved for the Ronald McDonald House in Omaha. All to keep Nebraska beautiful and to help kids and families in need.
