The Malvern Country Music Gathering will take place Friday, Nov. 2, and Saturday, Nov. 3 at the Liberty Memorial Building, 501 Main St., Malvern.
The doors will open at 5 p.m. Friday, followed by a potluck set to begin at 5:30 p.m. Attendees should bring one main dish and one dessert or salad.
The open stage jam show kicks off at 7 p.m. and is scheduled to run until 11 p.m. Both acoustic and electric instruments are welcome at any of the jam shows.
The event features a variety of types of music, including old-time, traditional, country, bluegrass, hillbilly, mountain, Civil War and Irish, said organizer and festival host Fred Larson.
Saturday’s entertainment gets underway at 10 a.m. The open stage jam show is set to run until 5:45 p.m., with a Veteran’s Day tribute planned at 6 p.m. The jam show continues from 6:30 to 11 p.m.
Three extra rooms are available for jamming: two upstairs and one downstairs.
Saturday’s food concessions will be handled by the Classic Cafe.
Suggested admission donation for Friday evening’s show is $3 for adults. Saturday’s suggested adult admission is $4 for all day.
Children 6 and under will be admitted free.
All proceeds will go to the Liberty Building Fund.
