The Pioneers Tennis team brought down Beatrice 7 to 2 on Thursday, September 27, at Nebraska City.

The Pioneer varsity team swept Beatrice in doubles competition.


Langston and Logan Hoover won their No.1 doubles by a score of 8-4 against Max Meyer and Camden Parde.


In No. 2 doubles, Clay Stovall and Keith Whitehead defeated Dawson Saathoff and Zackary Zimmerman, 9-8 in a tightly contested match.


Zachary Albrecht and Adam Dia won 8-6 in No.3 against Connor Kelley and Connor Freitag.


During No.1 singles play, Logan Hoover downed Nicholas Crandall, 8-2.


Langston Hoover won in No.2 singles over Camdem Parde, 8-1.


In No.3 singles, Clay Stovall made quick work against Connor Kelley, 8-1.


Zachary Albrecht won 8-2 during No.4 singles vs Dawson Saathoff.


JV results: Christoph Gleich and Trey Pursel won No.4 doubles, 6-4.  No.7 singles, Nyuon Thuokok won, 6-2.


Nebraska City will be at Brownell-Talbot on Tuesday, October 2.
