Nebraska City High School plans to host parent informational sessions beneficial to parents of teenagers with a variety of topics scheduled.

The 30-minute sessions will be double-scheduled to accommodate the commitments of as many parents as possible. The first sessions will be Wednesday, Sept. 12, from 5:30 to 6 p.m. at the high school auditorium. The repeat wil be Thursday, Sept. 13, from 8:30 to 9 a.m. at Scooter’s on South 11th Street.

Topics for these sessions will include:

What does my kid need to know for college?:  Come listen to what Nebraska college's are telling incoming freshmen (and parents) about surviving their first year of school.  (10 to 15 minutes in duration)

Juul:  What is a Juul and how does it affect my kid?  (5 to 10 minutes in duration)

Homework notification system:  Does your student have trouble getting homework in on time?  If so, come listen to information about the new notification system being implemented at the high school.  (10 minutes in duration)
