The Nebraska City Area Economic Development Corporation and the United States Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development Housing Program will host a community meeting on hometown housing opportunities at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, at the Morton-James Public Library, 923 1st Corso.
During the meeting, USDA Rural Development Housing representatives will discuss financing programs that can help families with a variety of income levels achieve home ownership, along with financing programs that can help home owners make repairs to their properties.
The meeting’s target audience includes families who wish to buy a home, homeowners seeking financial assistance with repairs, lenders, realtors, builders, and local employers.
