A Zearing man has been arrested after police say he robbed a Nevada convenience store at gunpoint last weekend.
Samual Alexander Blatcher, 26, is charged with first-degree robbery (Class B felony), and three counts of forgery (Class D felony).
According to Nevada police, Blatcher entered the Kum & Go at 731 Lincoln Highway about 2 a.m. Sunday and pointed a gun at the clerk. Police said Blatcher left the store with an unknown amount of cash.
Nevada police said that during the investigation a warrant was filed for Blatcher’s arrest, and evidence was recovered from his residence.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
Blatcher is being held in the Story County Jail on $65,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Thursday.
If convicted, Blatcher could face up to 40 years in prison.
