Nebraska City, Neb. —
Local residents are reporting snowfall by 9:20 a.m. of three to 10 inches.
Randy King, who lives on the western edge of the county near Road M, reports 10 inches on the ground and snow still falling.
Melinda Howell-Moyer reports three to four inches of heavy, wet snow two miles south of town.
Valerie Green, who lives a mile north of Kimmel Orchard, reports five inches of snow. She said the electrical power flickered around 9:10 a.m., but the power stayed on.
Omaha Public Power District is reporting power outages between Otoe and Nebraska City this morning, as well as a few residences south of town.
Nebraska City utility crews are working on power outage northeast of Syracuse that has affected about six homes.
There are branches and trees down elsewhere, but they had not caused any other major power outages by 9:34 a.m.
