I have a wonderful loving husband that I cherish each day of my life. But last night I truly witnessed a Valentine’s Day couple!
They are Morgan and T.J. Bryant.
I’ve known this couple for 13 years, like all couples they have struggled just like any other couple. But it seems like the last few years have been tough, and have tested their marriage. The company Morgan worked for went under, they lost their only son soon after he was born. Then this last fall T.J. was diagnosed with cancer, even through chemo she still works her overnight job on her feet 8 hours a day. Then this January, Morgan had a heart attack and is still not able to work. It is not this that makes this couple my Valentine, but what each of them said about one another.
T.J. said that Morgan is taking good care of her, even when he isn’t healthy himself. She worries about him all the time and wouldn’t know what she would do without him.
Morgan, very worried about T.J. told me, “You know T.J. she got off work Saturday morning, she had blood work at a hospital in Omaha at 9 a.m., they ok’d her for Chemo at 10 a.m. She was home a little after 1 p.m., laid down for about two hours and then was up for a benefit they had in Morgan’s honor. He said, she is such a strong woman, I wouldn’t have made it, if that was me.
A test of love, faith and strength at work here. It really shows that their love is stronger now, then when I met them 13 years ago.! Thank you Morgan and T.J. for being my Valentine.
