Limelight Community Stage will present ReLeasT at The Avenue Grill on Sunday, June 14, at 2 p.m.  Tickets are $5 (children under 12 are $2.50) and can be purchased at the Avenue Grill (873-7625), from any band member, or can be purchased at the door.  The event is a fundraiser for Limelight.  Contact a band member if you are interested in having ReLeasT perform at your establishment.

About the band

A group of local musicians makes it a habit to take their songs to a place most people try to avoid.  ReLeasT is a band comprised of members of the local community who use their love of music to minister to prison inmates.

Members include Steve Collins, Vic Johns, Merry Hanson, Tim Wilson, Jeremy Kirkendall and Sean and Stephanie Stanek.  The group maintains a full schedule of performances in jails and prisons around the area, including the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution and Nebraska Correctional Center for Women in York.
