Nebraska City, Neb. -

A 1946 firetruck recently restored in Nebraska City was deemed parade ready Thursday after a Nebraska City Tourism and Commerce inspection at Cliff’s Classics, 222 First Corso.

NCTC’s tourism and promotions committee continued its Where in the World is Rose Ralstin campaign to promote the city’s service businesses.

In addition to her inspection and fanfare rating, Ralstin received instructions on installing an emergency light and changing the truck’s oil.

She deemed the truck “parade ready” and said it deserved the coveted five rose fanfare rating because of its vibrant yellow color and attention to detail.

Cliff Cooper, who hosted the business after hours event, said the truck served fire departments in Valley and Stella, Neb.
