Any other night you can go up there and get on after work. Just face it, its a public so other people play...you're right it is not a country club so you can't always play when you want. You need to make a tee time in order to play. Its not that hard to figure out. "

This is unfair to the women who like to play after work on weekdays. If it was truly fair, the men would have a day just like the women. We have just as much right to play as the men do even though there are more men golfers. Maybe the men running the leagues could stop up on Thursday night and we could show them how to run a league.... "

Its been that way for years. If you would have a sign up list at the beginning of the year, it would be fair. Anything else is not. If the Conservation Board does nothing about it, nothing will get done. Memberships drive the success of a golf course. When people can not play for any reason, they will quit and go somewhere else like the many have up there. When all members have equal opportunities to take part in activities, the members will come back rather than drive longer distances to another course. If you want nicer things for the golf course, it needs to draw new members instead of relying on motel taxes. "

The reason the barricades are in the parking lot is because when Argyle Street was flooded, they dug a trench thru the parking lot to drain to the storm sewer, if you would drive by and open your eyes you would notice the trench that goes to the tube! the barricades have been there since that time as a safety percaution. the Trench could be filled in now, but since the city council can't get a darn thing done, guessing this will be
