An 18-year-old Julian girl was hospitalized Wednesday after a rollover accident on County Road S west of Julian.

Nebraska City EMS transported Brittni D. Mann to St. Mary’s Community Hospital after she was thrown from the 1998  Oldsmobile Intrigue she was driving around 6:34 p.m.

The sheriff’s office reports that Mann was driving east on Road S when she lost control and left the north edge of the road. The vehicle struck a wooden, decorative fence and brick pillar near the circle driveway of Joan Hodges, 6227 S Rd.

The vehicle vaulted the driveway and then struck a second decorative fence and a mailbox.  The car rolled twice before coming to rest on a field fence.
