No one injured when cars collided on Highway 75

No one was injured Jan. 16 when north and southbound cars collided on Highway 75 seven miles south of Nebraska City.

There were no apparent injuries Monday morning when north and southbound vehicles collided on Highway 75.

A 2010 Saturn driven by Jasmyne A. Strauss, 19, of Shubert, Neb., was traveling south on the highway near County Road P and a 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo driven by Cecilia M. Francis, 27, of Stella, Neb., was northbound about seven miles south of Nebraska City.

The Otoe County Sheriff's Office reports that Strauss was adjusting dashboard controls when the Saturn crossed into the northbound lane.

Damages are estimated to the Saturn at $8,000 and the Monte Carlo at $5,000.
