Four matches produced four wins for the Rocket volleyball team during two triangulars last week.

All of the wins came in straight games.

The highlight of the week might have been the Bennington match. The Rockets won 25-12, 25-12 and handed the Badgers their first defeat of the season.

As of Tuesday morning, Bennington’s record stood at 9-1.

Coach Dean Farley said he was pleased with how his team played against what he said was a good and tall Bennington team.

“I was very pleased with our intensity level, our energy level and our focus level in that match,” Farley said.

The coach was also appreciative of the Rocket fans who turned out for the Tuesday home triangular, noting that the early match had good attendance.

“They provided us with a big lift,” Farley said.

The Rockets, 14-1, were scheduled to return to action for a triangular against Palmyra and Elmwood-Murdock on Tuesday before hosting Raymond Central at 7 p.m. on Oct. 2. The Rockets are scheduled to host their annual tourney on Oct. 6.
