Lourdes bounced back from last week’s loss to Syracuse-Dunbar-Avoca by pounding out three straight games for a match win at Omaha Brownell-Talbot on Tuesday.

The win raised the Knights’ record to 8-5.

Hanna Morrison had what Coach Michelle Kreifels called her best game to date.

The numbers serve as proof. Morrison hit for 10 kills on 19 swings for a .474 efficiency. She also had an ace serve and three solo blocks.

Alyse Holmes had 10 kills, four ace serves and nine digs. Among the kills for Holmes was an impressive shot that won the match.

Other numbers had Zoe Rickman with eight kills, two ace serves and seven digs. Kelsey Kreifels set for 32 assists and chipped in with four kills, two aces and nine digs.

Haley Kreifels had three aces, three kills, and nine digs. Katelyn Moyer had three aces and three digs.

“We played pretty consistent volleyball throughout game one and two, getting serval ace serves, and we were able to run a pretty quick offense because we had them off balance,” Coach Kreifels said.

Coach Kreifels said her team had some errors in game three, but persevered to avoid a game four.

The Knights will return to action for the Johnson County Central Invite Saturday.

Action starts at 9 a.m.

Lourdes will play the host team first. Johnson County Central enters the tourney with a mark of

14-1, including a win over S-D-A
