Life is no picnic when you stray from the trail! Join Red Riding Hood and her friends on a forest adventure Saturday, Aug. 9, when Missoula Children’s Theater and 70 local students present an original musical adaptation of this classic tale.
The local cast features Amie Fox as Red Riding Hood and Kelli Yost, Emily Bradley and Mayme Jordan as her three Girl Friends. Ranger Rooney is Amanda Dia. Zachary Prall is Little Loveable Wolf, while Kaelea Edwards, Maranda Kelley, Katelyn Nielson, Rory Morgan-Matthews and Nathan Taylor are featured as the Hood Family.
Also featured are The Three Little Pigs played by Ashley Robinson, Emily Jensen and Sara Stehlik. Jake Tierra is the Woodsman, Andrew Robinson is the Locksmith, and Jonah Taylor is the Boy Who Cries Wolf.
To complete the ensemble, Alissa Edwards, Elisa Strope, Malanie Aultz, Madeline DuBois, Nathan Kelley, Madison Wurtele, Samantha Parde, Brooke Ralstin, Kenzie Larson, Jacob Martens, Alex Schweitzer, Elise Lewin, Chaley Jensen, K.C. Allen, Jake Stehlik, Jasmine Dia, Alexis Jacobsen, Francie Pargett, Delaney Taylor and Alex Lingerson will appear as the Forest Shadows.
Collin Walker, Maddie DeVorss, Elizabeth Kelley, Gavin Nielsen, Rachael Nordhues, Brenna Turner, Nicole Collins, Travis Davis, Tyler Riley, Chloe Kroll and Helena Hartman will appear as the Wolfgang.
Aaliyah Shallenberger, Jillian Taylor, Luke Partsch, Brianna Ralstin, Logan Hoover, Langston Hoover, Chloe DuBois, Morgan Kroll, Piper Monson, Kelsie Stovall, Natalie Turner, Joshua Martens, Kaitlynn Simon, Josie Meadows, Tessa Kinart, Cheyenne Allen, Kristen Cash, Jillian Taylor and Miranda McCord are the Rascally Raccoons.
Nicole Goebel, Luke Stehlik, Gabe Collins and Britnie Edwards will serve as the invaluable assistant directors throughout the week.
“Red Riding Hood” will be presented at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at the Nebraska City High School Auditorium. Tickets are: adults $4, students $2, families $10.
