The final consolation rounds and the championship finals were the order of business for Nebraska City and Syracuse-Dunbar-Avoca wrestlers Saturday at the Nebraska State Wrestling Championships at the Omaha Qwest Center. Rocket Jacob Manley, 145, defeated Lee Henning of Gretna, 4-1. Those results set up medal round matches, which followed directly after the consolation semifinals. Wrestlers who won a consolation semifinal match advanced to wrestle in the third and fourth place match, while those who fell in the consolation semifinals fell to the match for fifth and sixth. Championship finals action had two Rockets wrestling for championships Saturday afternoon. The Rockets wrapped up a season in which they won all but one of their duals and finished first in every tourney of the campaign, save for the second place state finish.
