Viola M. Flessner, 81, Unadilla, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at Clarkson Hospital, Omaha. She was born Dec. 4, 1926, at Beatrice, daughter of William and Grace (Brandt) Ude. She married Delmer Flessner Feb. 21, 1957, at Hopewell Church near Unadilla.
She was a homemaker.
Flessner was a member of the Unadilla United Methodist Church and the Pawnee Rod & Gun Club. She enjoyed craftwork, going to the lake, tractor shows and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Delmer, Unadilla; sons, Ron Slone and wife Linda, Casper, Wyo., and Don and wife Deb, Unadilla; three grandchildren, Christi Day and husband Randy, Casper, Wyo.; Jodi Brooks and husband Nick, Newcastle, Wyo. and Stephanie, Unadilla; four great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Judy Ude, Littleton, Colo. and Mary Ude, Lincoln; and nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded by her parents; sister, Roesanna Rhoden; and brothers, Richard and Paul Ude.
Services were Friday, April 11, at the Unadilla United Methodist Church. The Rev. Richard Dimond officiated. Interment was at Hopewell Cemetery southwest of Unadilla.
Pallbearers were Robert Siefken, Jamie Flessner, John Peterson, Kent and Kelley Kreifels, and Mike and Mark Ude.
Honorary pallbearers were Kevin and Craig Kreifels, and Craig and Jim Peterson.
Carolyn Kastens was organist.
