Esther J. Kuhn, 95, of Nebraska City, died April 8 at The Ambassador-Nebraska City. She was born June 11, 1912 in Ashland to Lawrence and Sarah (Saylors) Ward. She married Glen John Kuhn on May 12, 1928 in Plattsmouth.
She is survived by children Jack Kuhn of Ashland, Roger of Louisville, and Lynda and Harry Larson of Nebraska City; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and special cousin Lilly Cox of Louisville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen; daughter Sally; four brothers, and two sisters.
She was a housewife and enjoyed crafts, apple dolls, pinochle, card club and gardening.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m. April 10 at Fusselman Wymore Funeral Chapel in Louisville with Rev. Paul Blanchard officiating.
Pallbearers are grandsons Randy Kuhn, Roger Kuhn, Lars Larson, Donald Crouch, Paul Stapleton, Dustin Stapleton, Greg McWhorter, Wayne Pike and Steve Sels. Honorary pallbearers are Shawn Grady and Brandon Grady.
Burial will be at South Bend Cemetery in South Bend.
Visitation is Wednesday, April 9, 1-9 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6-8 at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice.
