To the editor:

Three times the gazebo at the Boone Middle School has been damaged. The father - whose son built this as an Eagle Scout project, then donated it to the school - has three times used his own money and time to repair and paint the gazebo.

This is used as a classroom. As a neighbor, I go and sit and read during the evenings. It is a peaceful place to listen to the birds and forget your worries. But not when someone is so disrespectful of other people’s property and continue to damage it.
