The Nebraska City Fine Arts Committee presents a free interactive exhibition aimed to inspire discussion about the arts in Nebraska City.
"The current exhibit at the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts gallery is important to the continued success of this committee as it strives to inspire artistic growth for the well-being and vibrancy of our community," KHN Assistant Director Pat Friedli said.
The exhibit opened July 6 and will continue until Friday. The gallery reception will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. The featured artists and committee members in the exhibition include Tina Dia, Pat Friedli, Marcia Holliway, Katie Radke, Honey Lynn Self, Elizabeth Sterling and Melissa Turner. Information about the committee and how to get involved will also be made available to the public for the first time.
Friedli said the exhibition is a great opportunity for the public to learn more about the newly-launched committee.
"We want to connect with the community and this interactive art exhibit will provide great information," she said. "It is also an opportunity for (people) to see art created by local Nebraska City artists."
The committee also hosts the Missoula Children's Theatre and the Summer Art Camps.
