The Nebraska City High Schools Memorial Marker was officially unveiled on Sunday, Aug. 31.  Linda Dierking Beerman of the Class of 1964 noted her class, which spearheaded the fundraising and design of the marker, felt an extra sense of pride and historic responsibility as they were the last class to graduate from the red brick building that was a part of the public school campus at that location.  The memorial marker was financed through donations from NCHS alumni, families, and friends.  Pictured above is Linda Dierking Beerman, Class of 1964, who welcomed attendees to the unveiling of the Memorial Marker at the Nebraska City Middle School.
