This September and October, the ConAgra Foods facility in Hamburg will expand its popcorn operations at that location.
 Currently, the plant makes bulk popcorn under the Act II, Orville Redenbacher’s and Vogel brand names. In addition, the plant will start making Jiffy Pop and tub-style popcorn.
“We’re excited about bringing these new lines into our plant and bringing additional jobs into the town of Hamburg,” said Plant Manager Troy Hendrickson.
The plant, located at 2301 Washington Street, employs 42  local residents.
