The 2014 Otoe County Relay for Life yielded a final total of $65,737.73, with 23 teams participating, 73 survivors, and 237 registered participants. The top three teams were Cargill’s Mother’s Lil’ Angels with $11,284.96, Kamp Kim with $9,807, and St. John’s United Methodist Church, Syracuse with $7,662.12. Shellee Kuhlenengle and Cathy Moore were co-chairs of the event. For the second year in a row, the event was moved indoors due to rain.
