Our favorite web-slinger is back for a sequel and director Marc Webb didn't hold anything back.
From facing multiple foes to dealing with his own internal struggles, Marc Webb shows us just
how strong of a hero Spider-man is.
Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) faces many struggles as he tries to find answers to
questions about his own life, while also facing the struggles of living that life and being the hero
everyone needs as Spider-man. Throughout this movie Peter is pulled in multiple directions as he
tries to figure out his relationship with Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone), finding the truth about his
    parents, and being Spider-man.
A more perfect choice couldn't have been made to have Andrew Garfield play this role.
He captures the emotions and sarcasm that is to be expected of Peter Parker when he is both
himself and Spider-man. Emma Stone also does an amazing job as Gwen Stacy, who is a strong
character and the balance that Peter Parker needs to live his life with a secret that only she knows
The villains chosen for this sequel keep you intrigued through the entire movie. This is so
important for a sequel because a weak choice for a villain could bring what would be an amazing
film crashing down around great actors with the potential to make the movie great. This was not
    an issue whatsoever.
Electro (Jamie Foxx) was the main villain, who could do an immense amount of damage
with electricity. His character, Max Dillan, was well done simply due to how he felt with his life.
He was lonely and underappreciated, almost invisible. This fueled his rage and made him an
even bigger threat due to his lack of caring. He treated the world as it treated him.
The Green Goblin (Dane DeHaan) was the friend, Harry Osborn and villain that Peter
never expected. Fueled by anger at the trials he was facing, Harry made Spider-man the target of
that rage and wanted to punish him for being what Harry thought was a fake.
Friendship, love, betrayal, and loss are all important parts that build into the great
storyline that makes up The Amazing Spider-man 2. This movie is a comic book fan's dream
because it brings everything together to make the perfect hero story.
Anyone who enjoys action and a great storyline is going to love this movie. So far one of
my favorites for the year as Marvel puts together another hit comic book movie. It is definitely
Page 2 of 2 - something the entire family can go see and everyone will enjoy it.
