  • Bobcat teams record wins over the weekend

  • Last weekend was a good one for the Peru State softball and baseball teams as the Bobcats grabbed two softball victories at Hastings College, winning 3-2 and 9-6, and the baseball team completed a four-game sweep of at the Centennial Complex Baseball Field against Benedictine College.

  • Last weekend was a good one for the Peru State softball and baseball teams as the Bobcats grabbed two softball victories at Hastings College, winning 3-2 and 9-6, and the baseball team completed a four-game sweep of  at the Centennial Complex Baseball Field against Benedictine College.
    The Bobcat baseball team won Saturday games by scores of 21-3 and 5-4, then came back Sunday with wins by scores of 19-2 and 8-5.
    With its sweep, the Bobcat baseball team improved to 22-11 overall and 10-6 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC). The 10-6 mark puts the Bobcats tied for second in their division with Baker University, with both teams' two games behind division-leading MidAmerica Nazarene University.
    Peru State’s softball team is now 20-15 overall.
