  • Peru State baseball splits with first-year program

  • Tuesday's baseball action at the Centennial Complex Field featured a first-year team in the Grace University Royals and the Peru State Bobcats.

  • Tuesday's baseball action at the Centennial Complex Field featured a first-year team in the Grace University Royals and the Peru State Bobcats.
    Peru State won the first game 7-5 and Grace took the second 5-1.  With the split, the 'Cats are 18-11 on the season while the Royals are now 20-10.
    This Saturday and Sunday, Peru State will host Heart of America Athletic Conference Western Division foe Benedictine College in a pair of double headers each day scheduled to start at 1 p.m.  Currently, the Ravens are 6-19 overall and 4-8 in conference play.
