  • The Syracuse-Dunbar-Avoca boys’ and girls’ track teams were in action last week at the Ashland Invite.
S-D-A took second in the boys’ division with Tanner Harsin and Turner Moore recording double gold medal performances. The boys’ team champion was Gretna.
That order was reversed in the girls’ standings with the Rockets claiming first place and Gretna finishing second. Haley Harsin, Emily Harsin, Julia Reed, and Emily Isaacs all had gold medal performances. The Rockets were also first in the 3200 relay.
The Rockets will compete today at the Auburn quad. The next varsity meet will be at Waverly on April 11. The Scott Nisely home meet is set for April 17.
