A $2,000 reward is being offered to convict the person or persons responsible for cutting down the flags on the downtown flagpole in Hamburg.
The Fremont County Sheriff's office is requesting information about the person or persons responsible for cutting own the flags from the Main Street flag pole in Hamburg.
Sometime between 10 and 11 p.m., someone cut the flags down, took the Iowa flag and left the American flag on the street.
The City of Hamburg is offering a $1,000 reward and Crime Stoppers is matching it with another $1,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of those involved.
