Officials are now looking into the possibility that the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 did fly for hours after it dropped off radar, as U.S. officials have said, and that it was headed toward the Andaman Islands, CNN reported. Officials think the plane might have been hijacked and that whoever was flying the plane was following "waypoints," i.e., physical landmarks. Cmdr. William Marks of the U.S. 7th Fleet told CNN, "It's a completely new game now. We went from a chess board to a football field."
The big movies opening today are "Need for Speed," a PG-13 action movie starring Aaron Paul from "Breaking Bad"; and "Veronica Mars," a PG-13 comedy-drama that spring from the TV show and a Kickstarter campaign to get the movie made.
The Dow Jones opened at 16,108.89 after falling 231.19 points Thursday.
