A search for suspects caused some concern to residents near Syracuse Saturday when Otoe County Sheriff’s deputies and Nebraska State Patrol officers stopped at homes in the area.
A deputy stopped a vehicle on Highway 2 near Syracuse Saturday for not having functional taillights. All the doors of the vehicle then opened and approximately six individuals fled on foot.
