Phyllis Ann Gregg, 76, of Nehawka, died at home Jan. 9, 2014. She was born April 4, 1937 at Nehawka to George Randal and Leora (Fleshman) Switzer. She married “Dugan” Marion Gregg Dec. 17, 1954 at Nehawka.
She is survived by husband Dugan Gregg of Nehawka; son Richard Gregg and wife Colleen of Lincoln; daughters Sheri Trimmer and husband Rodney and Kathy Gregg, all of Nehawka; grandchildren Joey Gregg and wife Liz, Kyle Hanson, Megan Trimmer and Kody Gregg; great grandchildren Addison Gregg and Ella Gregg; sisters Nancy Jones and Janice Gansemer and husband Howard, all of Nehawka; daughter-in-law Kathie Gregg of Illinois; many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded by son Wayne A. Gregg and grandson Jason Gregg.
She worked at Midwest Coop in Nehawka before retiring 14 years ago. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women in Nehawka.
She loved flowers, gardening, camping, fishing and spending time with her family. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Memorial services are at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, at the First United Methodist Church in Nehawka with Rev. Sandy Webster officiating. Burial is at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Nehawka.
Memorials are suggested to Nehawka Methodist Church or Nehawka Rescue Squad.
Visitation is 1-9 p.m. Sunday at Marshall Funeral Chapel in Nebraska City with the family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m.
