The Bobcats received the opening kick of the second half, but Evangel ended that possession by returning an interception for a touchdown to lead 22-20.
A 49-yard Bobcat touchdown run by Ethan Bray made it 27-22 Bobcats.
Evangel faced a 3rd-and-8 at its own four-yard line in the late stages of the third quarter, but ended up converting on a pass play to launch a 99-yard scoring drive capped by a 61-yard run.
The point after failed and Evangel led 28-22.
