  • Mildred M. Driever, 88, of Hamburg died Nov. 3, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs. She was born on April 26, 1925 in rural Sidney to Raymond William and Sophie Edith Augusta (Nook) Driever. She attended Pleasant Grove Country School through the 8th grade and then attended Sidney High School.

  • Mildred M. Driever, 88, of Hamburg died Nov. 3, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs. She was born on April 26, 1925 in rural Sidney to Raymond William and Sophie Edith Augusta (Nook) Driever. She attended Pleasant Grove Country School through the 8th grade and then attended Sidney High School.
        She was a former member of the North Liberty Ladies Aid and a member of the United Trinity Church in Hamburg. Mildred was a housekeeper always tending to the needs of the family.
        She is survived by brothers Wayne Driever of Hamburg and Forrest Driever of Sidney; nephews Alan Driever of Sidney and Stephen Driever and wife Janet of Eau Claire, Wis.; niece Joy Miller and husband Dave of Bennett, Neb.; numerous great nieces and great nephews; other family and many friends.
        Funeral services will be held graveside on Thursday, Nov. 7, at 2 p.m. at the Sidney Cemetery.   
     
        Pallbearers will be Alan, Stephen and Caleb Driever, Dave Miller, Robert Dean Barton, David Doren and Eric Miller.
        Memorials may be given to Hamburg Rescue in her memory.
        The family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Rash-Gude Funeral Home in Hamburg.
        The family will gather at the Rash-Gude Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Thursday for the procession to the cemetery.
