The Syracuse City Council will meet tomorrow, Oct. 16, at 6 p.m. at city hall. Topics will include utility project payments, cable television franchise, emergency planning and unfinished projects.
The Syracuse City Council will meet tomorrow, Oct. 16, at 6 p.m. at city hall.
The agenda will include the usual reports from sheriff and parks.
Public Works report will include discussion on payments for Syracuse Electrical Underground Distribution Replacement Project and Water Transmission Main Project. Ordinance No. 931 on adding a line item to the monthly utility bill will be discussed. The maintenance agreement with the state for Highway 50/Park Street will be discussed.
Bids will be opened for the sale of city firearms and drinking fountain from swimming pool.

Discussion on fun run and Tannenbaum Trot, Dec. 7.
Discussion of cable tv franchise fee and pole attachment agreement with Zito Midwest and same discussion with Unite Private Networks, LLC
Discussion and resolution on Otoe County Local Emergency Operations Operations.
Discussion on cell phone reimbursement for Roy Bretthorst
Discussion on revised ADA policy statement
The council will discuss the following projects yet to be completed: updating city code book and getting it on the city's website, updating the city website, annexation, Zito Media contract, condition of nuisance properties, legislative action, taxes and budget
