  • The Nebraska Athletic Department and NET Television announced on Tuesday that NET will televise the Wisconsin match on Saturday, Oct. 5.
    The match is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be carried on NET1 and will be shown in high definition on NET-HD. It will also be streamed on the Big Ten Digital Network at http://video.btn.com. The NET Sports broadcast team of Larry Punteney and Kathi Wieskamp will once again bring fans all of the action.
    Nebraska, ranked No. 12 by the American Volleyball Coaches Association, is scheduled to begin Big 10 Conference play at 7 p.m. Thursday with a trip to play Northwestern at Evanston, Ill. The match will be covered on BTN.com.
    The Huskers, 7-2, will be looking to rebound from a 25-20, 19-25, 25-27, 25-21, 12-15 loss to former Big 12 rival Texas. The Longhorns are rated No. 5 by the AVAC.
    Looking at the statistical leaders for Nebraska, the Huskers are led in kills by Kelsey Robinson, 129.
    Robinson is also the co-leader in digs with teammate Justine Wong-Orantes. Both have 127 digs.
    Mary Pollmiller leads the Huskers in set assists with 310. Cecilia Hall and Amber Rolfzen are the block leaders with 27 and 23.
