The Otoe County Sheriff's Office investigated a recent complaint of a mutilated teddy bear.
A teenage girl filed for protection orders against three other Nebraska City teens after finding the bear in her driveway.
She told the district judge that the teens had threatened her.
One girl threatened to “dig her eyes out with a spoon,” the complaint says. “Later that night, we found a teddy bear in our driveway missing an eye,” she said.
The bear had “rip marks” and “some type of red mixture all over it to look like blood.”
The sheriff's office expects the protection orders to convince the girls involved to stop the threats.
