Nebraska City Tourism and Commerce's early AppleJack 2013 flyer is encouraging visitors to Get JACK'D to celebrate an original event organizer Jack Brawner of all the Jacks who will attend.

Brawner is scheduled to be the grand marshal of the parade and NCTC sources say Jacks will receive special treatment throughout the festival. For example, Jacks will be encourage moved in front of the line at the pancake feed and get free admission to the street dance.

The schedule of events include carnival, orchard activities, helicopter rides, crafts and fine arts.
