Orlane A. Breazile, 72, of Nebraska City died June 27, 2013 at her home. She was born on March 19, 1941 in Rock Bluff near Murray to Floyd L. and Emma G. (Graham) Allen.
Orlane attended school in Nebraska City and graduated from Nebraska City High School in 1959. She married William Breazile on Sept. 12, 1959 in Nebraska City.
Orlane had worked at the old Nebraska City Medical Clinic and then at the former Alco in Nebraska City. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, but her greatest love was spending time with her family and grandkids.
She is survived by children William “Bill” Breazile and girlfriend Katie Anderson of Syracuse, Julie Oakes and husband Dan of Nebraska City, and John Breazile of Nebraska City; special friend Jim Wehling of Nebraska City; eight grandchildren: Bill Breazile, Tanner Breazile, Aaron Lahmon, Brady Oakes, Evan Oakes, Autumn Breazile, Alex Breazile and Emily Breazile; four great-grandchildren; siblings Marie Stoll and Paul Allen and wife Linda, all of Nebraska City; sister-in-law Mildred Allen of Nebraska City; other family and friends.
She was preceded by siblings Betty Baird, Dorothy Westover, Fred Allen and Clifford Allen.
Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3, at the First Christian Church in Nebraska City with Pastor Jerry Albright officiating. Burial will follow at Wyuka Cemetery in Nebraska City.
The family will greet friends on Tuesday, July 2, from 6-8 p.m. at Gude Mortuary in Nebraska City.
Memorial may be given to the Morton James Public Library or the family.
