Have you visited the local farmers market yet? On your next visit, look for fresh herbs to incorporate into your meals. Herbs boost antioxidants in your meal while also enhancing the flavor. Some herbs also have the potential to decrease blood pressure and lower blood cholesterol. Both fresh and dried herbs taste great, so gather a bunch of parsley, garlic, oregano, rosemary, chives or basil at your next Farmers Market and give them a try! Herbs can also make great potted plants and be available fresh for all your meals!
