  • NormaLee I. “Aunt Shorty” Conn, 81, of Nebraska City, formerly Auburn, died June 17, 2013 at her home. She was born on Aug. 22, 1931 in Auburn to Delbert B. and Blanche (LaVigne) Conn. She graduated from Auburn High School in 1948.

  • NormaLee I. “Aunt Shorty” Conn, 81, of Nebraska City, formerly Auburn, died June 17, 2013 at her home. She was born on Aug. 22, 1931 in Auburn to Delbert B. and Blanche (LaVigne) Conn. She graduated from Auburn High School in 1948.
    NormaLee worked at Tri-Pac in Auburn for 12 years and at Auburn Haul Away & Landfill for 20 years. She was an avid Democrat.
    She is survived by sister Judy Christiansen of Texas; numerous nieces and nephews including Robert Christiansen, Pat Christiansen, David Conn and Lance Conn; numerous great-nephews and nieces including great nephews Shawn, Cody and Chase Christiansen and great-niece Kelly Conn; other family and friends.
    She was preceded by siblings Lloyd Conn, Bud Conn, Jack Conn, Esther McConnell, Harvey Conn, Kelly B. Conn and Jim Conn.
    Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 21, at the Glenrock Cemetery southeast of Brock with Pastor Terry Duffy of the Church of Christ in Nebraska City officiating.
    Memorials may be given to the Glenrock Cemetery Association in her memory.
