While avocados are known for being a high-fat food, they do also contain monounsaturated fats, that are truly heart-healthy. Avocados also contain vitamin E, which can be tricky to get. Avocados are also a good source of fiber and can help you to absorb carotenoids, which are a form of antioxidant. Try adding slices of avocado to your next salad or sandwich.
