Trying to lose a few extra pounds before summer? Watch your caloric intake! Additional calories can truly add up in a hurry. Try switching the afternoon pop to water and monitoring snacking between meals. Also avoid late night snacking. These calories can add up to be equivalent to an additional meal. Truly hungry? Try some carrot sticks, fresh fruit or a small portion of cheese and crackers. Another great way to reduce calories? At meals, fill your plate once, and enjoy, do not have second helpings. It takes your body 20 minutes to realize your full, which is always after you’ve indulged in second servings.
