Janelle M. Nenneman, 74, of rural Hamburg died May 22, 2013 at the Ambassador in Sidney. She was born on Feb. 18, 1939 in Harlan to Elmo and Genevieve E. (Dinsmore) Kimball.
She graduated from Sidney High School in 1957. She marriedTerry J. Nenneman on April 29, 1957 in Sidney at the United Methodist Church.
Janelle worked in the cafeteria at the Sidney High School and also at the former Sidney Health Center (Ambassador) in Sidney. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Sidney.
Janelle is survived by her husband Terry J. Nenneman of rural Hamburg; children: Don Nenneman and wife Melissa of Sturgeon Bay, Minn., Donna Nenneman of Hamburg, David Nenneman and wife Jamie of Sidney, and John Nenneman and wife Becky of Riverton; three grandchildren; siblings Monty Kimball and wife Midori of Sidney, Ellen Waggoner and significant other Doug Lacy of Kearney, Mickie Gessert of Harlan, and Debbie Strong and husband Larry of Ottumwa; brother-in-law Keith Proctor of Rock Port, Mo.; other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Glenda Proctor and brother-in-law Ralph Gessert.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, at the United Methodist Church in Sidney with Pastor Jan Phillips officiating. Burial will be in the Sidney Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 24, at the Rash-Gude Funeral Home in Hamburg.
