  • Guitar custom made for Madonna School fundraiser

  • The Nebraska City Arby's Restaurant is raffling a custom-made guitar this spring to benefit the Madonna School in Omaha.

    The strat-style electric guitar is assembled from American parts and designed by Rick Rodgers of Great Plains Guitars.

    It will be on display at the store and $5 raffle tickets are expected to go on sale this weekend.

    It will be on display at the store and $5 raffle tickets are expected to go on sale this weekend.
    All proceeds will benefit Madonna, a Catholic school for children with special needs.
    Rodgers, who has been custom-making guitars for 25 years, said the guitar components come from Fender and Switchcraft.
    "It plays really nice. It's set up is about a medium. I didn't want it to get too low," he said.
    Rodgers designed the graphics and color scheme. He said it features the Arby colors of red and black.
