Funeral services for Dorothy Mae Albright, 88, of Nebraska City are scheduled at 10 a.m., Monday, May 6, at Marshall Funeral Chapel with Rev. Rodger Good officiating.
Albright, who is survived by her son Jerry Albright and his wife Valerie of Nebraska City, lived in Humboldt and Lincoln before moving to Nebraska City in 2003.
Dorothy Mae Albright, who was born May 1, 1925, in Lincoln, died at Duff's Friendship Villa in Nebraska City on May 2, 2013.
Parents: Wilhelm Gotlieb and Lucille (Gibbs) Wenninger.
Married: June 16, 1944 in Humboldt to Kenneth Albright. She was preceded by her husband on Feb. 4, 1991.
She was also preceded by her parents and brother, Lawrence Ritenour.
Survivors: son, Rev. Jerry Albright and his wife Valerie of Nebraska City; daughter, Marvel Kay Snyder and her husband Wesley of Lincoln; grandchildren, Geoffrey Albright, Jonathan Albright, Kaylynn Snyder and Kristion Snyder; great grandchild, Serina Plympton; sister, Sharon Kuehn and her husband Gary of Lincoln; many other relatives and friends.
She worked at a licensed practical nurse in private duty nursing and then at the Lincoln Regional Center for several years prior to retirement.
She lived in Humboldt and Lincoln before moving to Nebraska City in 2003.
She was a member of the Grand Army of the Republic, Rebecca Lodge, LPN Association, East Lincoln Christian Church, Bethany Christian Church and Great Plains Aquarium Society.
Personal Notes and Hobbies: Dorothy collected cook books, menus and rocks. She studied geology and loved classical music. Dorothy always enjoyed vacation trips with her family.
Funeral Services: 10 A.M. Monday, May 6, 2013 at Marshall Funeral Chapel with Rev. Rodger Good officiating.
Visitations: 1 to 9 P.M. Sunday at Marshall Funeral Chapel in Nebraska City with the family greeting friends from 6 to 8 P.M.
Interment: Humboldt Cemetery in Humboldt, NE
Pallbearers: Wesley Snyder, Gary Kuehn, Raymond Kuehn, Jonathan Albright, Geoffrey Albright, and Kristion Snyder
