The Nebraska City Rotary Club is hosting students from the University of Nebraska Omaha Friday, April 19. Rotarians will welcome 12 international students currently enrolled at UNO for two days of touring in Nebraska City. The students will begin their time in town with a presentation to local fifth graders. Other activities Friday include a visit to the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Trail and Visitor's Center, a hayrack ride at Kimmel Orchard, and golfing at Arbor Links. The students will stay in host homes Friday night. Saturday's highlights are a tour of Arbor Lodge State Historical Park, a peak inside the new Kregel Windmill Factory Museum, and witnessing the Grand Unveiling of the An Enchanted Arboretum public art project Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. at the Otoe County Courthouse. Rotary International has 1.3 million members in more than 200 countries around the world. With a motto of Service Above Self, they focus on building peace and goodwill through understanding.
