  • Time Warner Cable offers broadcasts of Eagle Raceway

  • Time Warner Cable is planning to produce and broadcast eight races from Eagle Nebraska’s Eagle Raceway this year.

    Time Warner Cable’s racing coverage will start with a live broadcast April 20 called the “Ice Breaker Challenge” on Time Warner Cable Metro Sports, channel 310.

    The races will be available on Nebraska On Demand channel 411 two days after each race.

  • Time Warner Cable is planning to produce and broadcast eight races from Eagle Nebraska’s Eagle Raceway this year.
    Time Warner Cable’s racing coverage will start with a live broadcast April 20 called the “Ice Breaker Challenge” on Time Warner Cable Metro Sports, channel 310.
    In addition to Saturday’s live event, additional racing dates will be broadcast on Time Warner Cable Metro Sports in the week following each race and on Time Warner Cable’s Nebraska On Demand channel 411 two days after each race. 
    “These Eagle Raceway events are very popular with our customers, and we’re excited that we can provide so many high-quality local broadcasts again this year,” said TWC Metro Sports general manager Chris Huwe.
    Time Warner Cable 2013 Local Racing Broadcast Schedule:
    • April 20: Ice Breaker Challenge (preseason race) - available on Nebraska On Demand beginning April 22 
    • April 27: Season Opener - available on Nebraska On Demand beginning April 29 
    • May 4: Rumble in the Bull Ring - available on Nebraska On Demand beginning May 6 
    • June 8: Student Break Out - available on Nebraska On Demand beginning June 10 
    • June 29: Freedom Fest - available on Nebraska On Demand beginning July 1 
    • August 3: Fan with a Can - available on Nebraska On Demand beginning Aug. 5 
    • September 1: IMCA Sprint Super National Championship - available on Nebraska On Demand beginning Sept. 3 
    • September 8: Nebraska Cup – available on Nebraska On Demand beginning Sept. 10. 
    Located on channel 411 on the digital tier, Nebraska On Demand is Time Warner Cable’s free digital channel devoted to local sports, business news, education, arts and entertainment.
    To view Time Warner Cable’s local racing broadcasts, customers need to go to channel 411 and then to the “Sports” category. Using their digital remote control, viewers can find the “Racing” tab and then select the race they want to watch.
    In addition to racing, Nebraska On Demand also airs Huskers practice reports, postgame interviews and analysis, NET’s “Big Red Wrap-up,” area high school sports and more.
