The Massachusetts Beverage Alliance and the BSG Brewery of Montreal, Quebec, announced today that Glutenberg beers will soon be available in Massachusetts.

Glutenberg is a series of gluten-free beers brewed by BSG.

The brewery in 2012, won all three awards at the 2012 World Beer Cub in the “Gluten-free beer” category.

Currently, there will be three Glutenberg beers available – the Blonde, the American Pale Ale and the Red. They will all be available in 16-ounce cans.

“The initial idea was not only to produce the best gluten-free beers in the world, but to make the best possible beers -period,” said BSG CEO and co-founder Julien Niquet in a release. “Because I’m gluten intolerant, I was very knowledgeable about the market and I knew we had an enormous opportunity.”

I haven’t had a chance to try these beers, but this is just another of a growing number of gluten-free beer options that those with Celiac disease can try and hopefully enjoy.

The beer was shipped on Saturday, are due to be available in Massachusetts, Maine and Vermont beginning next week.
